Gig Spotlight: Lissy Trullie and the Fibs at Cake Shop, 9/22

The often-androgynous, sometimes modeling beaut to your left is Lissy Trullie. Although she was selected as one of Paper Magazine's Beautiful People of 2008, she's not just a pretty face. Lissy not only fronts her 4-piece band, The Fibs, but picks the guitar up as well. Lissy will be playing Cake Shop on Monday, September 22nd (TLC will be there.) She also plays Highline Ballroom on October 6th for the 3rd Anual Give Me Shelter Rock and Rescue charity event alongside Blondie, Adam Green, Le Tigre and Jesse Malin.
