BBC Sound of 2009: Longlist Announced

It's that time of the year again when us music lovers start thinking about whose going to be big in the new year, and TLC is here to help you! The BBC Sound of 2009 longlist has been announced and unlike a lot of polls, this is put together by 130 of the UK's top music critics and broadcasters. Last year Adele was voted number one, with Duffy, The Ting Tings and Glasvegas following behind (Check out last years hotlist).

The top ten and the winner will be announced on 6 Music in January, the only criteria being that artists must not have a top 20 single or album.
