The Gorillaz' Damon Albarn appeared on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 Takeover yesterday. Albarn debuted 2 new Gorillaz demo tracks: Broken and Electric Shock. The collective band is set to begin recording for their third album, the follow up to 2005's Demon Days in Syria this March.
"I'm going to Syria because I've got a real fascination with Arabic orchestral music. We're going at the end of March for Gorillaz," said Albarn of the recording sessions.
